Decommissioned a 21-year-old legacy system with zero downtime, earning IT Director commendation. Refactored 200+ ODI mappings/packages and ~20 Oracle tables, reducing processing from 6–8 hours to 2 hours. Led 13 professionals as Squad Lead, Scrum Master, Product Owner and Technical Lead, reducing production incidents from 147 to 13. Strengthened data quality, MDM, data lineage, documentation and governance across critical datamarts.

Optimized datasqill ETL/ELT orchestration, implemented scheduler enhancements and HTML notification pipelines, developed logging filters and loop dependencies, improved exception handling, standardized DSDB structures, integrated Freemarker for dynamic SQL execution, and established Unix Shell stdout categorization to strengthen automation, data quality, code standards, and platform reliability.

EDW Migration: Managed third-party contractors and mentored in-house engineering staff through a major Data Warehouse Migration project, successfully reducing external resource overhead and expediting feature delivery timelines for key corporate stakeholders. Strategic Architecture Planning: Participated heavily in leadership-level architecture definitions and future infrastructure cost-reduction plans, supporting the Team Lead with data engineering workflows and agile team restructuring.

Configurable Data Modeling Solutions: Engineered fully configurable data model patterns within high-performance analytical environments, directly boosting processing elasticity. Advanced Data Quality Implementations: Designed and implemented robust data quality assurance mechanisms, including systemic automated monitoring pipelines, dynamic data reprocessing loops, and active record blacklisting architectures to deliver reliable insights to business users with zero delay.

Engineering Team Management: Supervised and mentored a team of 10 full-time and part-time data engineers within large-scale, relational data platform environments. Data Delivery Optimization: Championed engineering best practices and introduced highly parameterized, metadata-driven architecture templates, resulting in an operational delivery time reduction of over 50% across key analytical tracks.

Contributed to Vodafone’s global IFRS 15 compliance initiative, restructuring prepaid/postpaid revenue accounting with a 10-person cross-functional team. Designed data models and ETL architecture for Analytics 360 fraud detection, classifying dealer activity and enabling Tableau executive dashboards. Engineered MCCM analytics by consolidating marketing data sources and building end-to-end pipelines from 3NF data vaults to dimensional data marts.

Led end-to-end redevelopment of regulatory reporting systems during core mainframe migration. Personally drove source system analysis, enterprise 3NF/dimensional data modeling, and ETL architecture, coordinating delivery with third-party vendors. Designed SAP BO Universes and automated high-performance batch reporting to streamline UAT validation and ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.

CURE Banking System Architecture: Key contributor in the Credit Underwriting Re-engineering (CURE) data transformation project, executing target mapping, data quality parsing, and migrating regulatory report schemas across legacy banking tables.
