During this internship, I continued building on the knowledge and skills I had gained from my previous training experiences at the bank. I became more familiar with the work environment and processes, which helped me strengthen my understanding of how different teams collaborate within the organization, while also improving my professional and communication skills through exposure to daily operations in the bank’s IT department.

During this internship, I trained on the Mendix platform, a low-code development tool, and learned how to use it for designing and building applications with minimal coding. I developed a clear understanding of what low-code development means and how it simplifies the app creation process. After completing the Rapid Developer course, I earned the certification and applied my knowledge by creating a simple application using the skills I acquired during the course.

During this internship, I worked with the middleware team, focusing on web services and API integrations. I gained a general overview of API development, testing, and integration, along with an understanding of enterprise-level banking systems. Additionally, I became familiar with the tools used for API development, documentation, and testing, such as Swagger for API documentation and Postman for testing.
