Eurontoit is a dynamic international company with two main business lines: international distribution of broadcast and meteorological products, and the provision of strategic consultancy, marketing & PR services to manufacturers of products for broadcast, Mobile and Internet sectors.

Responsible for establishment & management of Barcelona branch and European sales & marketing operations for Metra, the international arm of the New Zealand Meteorological Service. Also on product steering committees. Metra markets real-time 3D weather graphics presentation software, weather video clips, and a range of specialised forecast products to television stations, mobile operators and energy companies worldwide.Customers included the BBC, CNBCe, CNBC Europe, Channel 4 Finland and the 9 and 7 Network

Managed International Unit responsible for developing/ implementing international policy work, conducting a major operational policy review & developing New Zealand’s position and leading or developing Free Trade Agreement negotiations (WTO), bilateral education co-operation agreements & cross-border qualification recognition & equivalency agreements with a number of countries. Also responsible for managing foreign delegations & providing advice to Ministers & Govt. agencies.

Developed and oversaw implementation of a $6.2 million workplan for international education in New Zealand spanning research, promotion, professional development and quality assurance. Work involved establishing and managing education advisory committees, developing and managing RFP processes, preparing budget bids, drafting & implementing legislation, managing international education body relations and contracts and providing advice to Ministers and government agencies on all of the above.

Managed company global marketing strategy, Marketing Communications Plan, and Investor and Public Relations at a time when company experienced 60% year-on-year growth. Also member of Product Strategy Committee. Managed road shows to Paris & London with company CEO to attract investors prior to company’s bid to be dual listed on NASDAQ.

Worked as Senior Editor & Translator Romance Languages at largest translation agency in the Southern Hemisphere. Responsible for final editorial control of all translations between English, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. Took up roles as NZ & European Client Mangers, responsible for management of clients, business development & marketing. Undertook interpreting assignments for various NZ corporate customers and NZ Government departments.
