Continued to help architect and build various components of the Dynamics 365 Business Central product. The biggest aspect of this was the cloud migration tooling for BC, which was designed to migrate data from an on-premises instance of BC or GP into a SaaS instance. This also involved working directly with several Business Central partners to ensure a smooth migration for their customers.

Continued work on the Dynamics NAV team, which became the Dynamics Business Central team. I helped design and implement the Outlook add-ins for Business Central, helped implement a contact synchronization engine to synchronize contacts and other information with Exchange, and also implemented the first API web services in Business Central.

Started my career on the Microsoft Dynamics GP team in 2013. One of the biggest aspects of this position was implementing single sign on to the GP web client. Shortly after that, I shifted focus and began work on the Dynamics NAV product, implementing various ERP features.

Administered the servers of the NDSU ACM. I was handed down the position from the former sysadmin who was about to graduate. When I initially became the sysadmin, I didn't know much about what I was doing - the only background I had was a little bit of Linux use. However, after almost three years of being in this position, I have learned a lot and have set up a lot of neat services that the chapter didn't have before.

Main points: - C# .NET application development - Mobile web development for iOS devices Description: A team of three other people and I worked on a project for Inwerken AG as part of our senior computer science capstone course where we created an add-in component for NSi AutoStore. Following the completion of the project and my final year of my undergraduate studies, I worked for Inwerken AG for an additional two months where I finished the component and created a (separate) web application for iOS.

Worked as an implementation consultant where I added enhancements and made corrections to the GenTax tax system. This involved working closely with the Arlington, Virginia client to have proposed changes clarified and tested thoroughly.

Tutored students in a group and, in some cases, a one-on-one environment. Subjects tutored include Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics. I enjoyed doing this, and took pride in the work I performed. I found it very rewarding to hear students tell me how they had done well on a quiz or an exam after having taken tutoring from me. The other benefit to this position was that I could keep my skills sharp in certain areas (especially mathematics).

I worked as a consultant at Microsoft's Fargo campus where my primary task was to edit developer documentation that was to go on the Microsoft Developer Network website. In addition, I developed internal tools, primarily in C#, to automate various tasks for my team at Microsoft.
