Took time out from usual contract work to experiment with Android development.

Create a reverse proxy to parse links to the back-end servers for 'in car entertainment system'. Dynamic insertion of session key in request headers. Contract cut short due to lack of Purchase Order for my employment.

Develop firmware and supporting software (test, demo, lab) for a new automotive communication base station. Write C/C++ to develop a command line tool according to specification. Maintain and enhance the JUnit test harness in accordance with the specification.

Develop new and enhance existing Java functionality to the JNI. Create applications to demonstrate functionality and provide 'how to' information to customers. Provide technical support to various worldwide customers.

Develop GSM RR stack from 3GPP specification on embedded C in a Unix and Windows environment. Use log file and core dump analysis to identify issues. Write functionality & regression tests.

Use existing source code to develop a Testify framework to highlight existing bugs and emphasis future regression problems across a number of products. Ensure Java Test Harness compliance to JSR specifications. Create, maintain and document the central test server, ensuring security and functionality of worldwide test harness.

Create test harness and test cases using CppUnit and CTC++. Document code coverage statistics. Development to be modular and utilise both black and white box methods. Present weekly progress and coverage reports to upper management and identify potential risks.

Java MIDlet development to verify platform JSR implementation. Implement and demonstrate pilot study for a new platform implementation utilising Java as the main API.

Development of dual stack in accordance with UMTS R5 3GPP specification. Investigate and document the integration of 3rd party UI application suite with the TI protocol stack based upon 3GPP specification.

Provide animation and imaging features for a new GSM product. EMS presentation, control and delivery development and defect corrections for message encoding/decoding, image, animation and melody support. Implementation of viewers and decoder for image and animation formats (JPG, GIF, BMP, WBMP and BMX).
