As owner and operator I call on projects out to bid, prepare estimates and proposals, and set up job sites. I also perform; project management, staffing, collections, marketing and other office requirements.

Started as a bricklayer, then became a foreman. Became estimator/project manager with the duties of preparing bids and project managing any successful bids.

Journeyman bricklayer, learning to be responsible person on jobsite.

Apprentice bricklayer where I learned about job: safety, responsibilities, conditions, expectations and quality workmanship.

Learned computer skills such as Microsoft's PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook. Also learned valuable office skills such as letter writing, proofreading and effective communication.

Learned about estimating, budgeting, reading blueprints and hands-on work such as lay-out and mechanical skills such as saw cutting.
