• Supporting business users in use of Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) as part of BAU • Manage, maintain, monitor platform stability and performance of EDL in Azure via Linux. • Execute patches, updates and others to comply with security and enhance performance • Administer Nifi hosts and Kafka brokers in Hortonworks Data Flow (HDF) • Responsible for Kafka topics creation and replications and performance using Grafana • Works with application team in Kafka integration via Nifi to load in Hive/Hbase

• Working with business and application level development teams to provide effective technical • support • Transforming data from rdbms to hdfs using available methodologies • Managing and reviewing log files for audit and retention • Ensuring High Availability-HA • Interfacing with other groups such as network, security, compliance, storage, etc • Hive and Hbase performance tuning for spark and mapreduce jobs • Supporting Talend for Big Data Platform on job issues.
