As a key leader, you will manage end‑to‑end development projects, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality, reliable, and cost‑effective products. Working closely with cross‑functional R&D and engineering teams, you will oversee the full project lifecycle, from early planning through development and New Product Introduction (NPI). • Develop project plans including budget, resources, and milestones aligned with Landis+Gyr’s P‑Gate process.
  • Lead resource planning across the entire lifecycle of each project.

Development Execution:

  • Drive all development activities from P0 to P3 in accordance with the P‑Gate Process.
  • Ensure product cost, feature set, quality, and reliability targets are achieved.
  • Monitor and manage project CapEx and OpEx within approved budgets.

New Product Introduction:

  • Coordinate NPI activities and ensure timely execution by cross‑functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Work effectively with production sites and critical suppliers.
  • Foster strong collaboration across intercultural and interdisciplinary teams.

Project Reporting & Governance:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and compliance with P‑Process requirements.
  • Present clear and concise weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards to the Project Steering Committee.
  • Identify, prioritise, and mitigate project risks.
  • Enforce the Change Request (CR) process to ensure transparency.
  • Support continuous improvement by analysing issues and recommending process enhancements.

About You

  • Possesses a Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical/Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent; highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi‑disciplinary project teams locally and internationally.
  • Strong background as an R&D engineer working through full lifecycle (Phase Gate).
  • Excellent communication skills and documentation capability in English and Mandarin.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Technical engineering experience required.
  • Project Management accreditation (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP).
  • Strong supply chain management (SCM) experience.
  • Self‑driven, organised, and able to work independently.
  • Strong focus on quality, innovation, safety, and systematic work practices.
  • Collaborative mindset and positive attitude when working with APAC PMO, R&D, and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, quick learner, and confident working across diverse projects.
