The introduction of Charité's new hospital information system (HIS) is an exciting and highly complex project that plays a key role in the digital transformation of patient care. The new HIS will improve the quality of treatment and meet the demands of Charité staff for modern digital support for their work - in line with the Charité Strategy 2030. Job overview
- You plan and implement system deployments independently and ensure that the entire deployment process runs smoothly and is constantly improving
- In application deployment projects, you hold the reins and always maintain an overview
- You set up systems so that they are reliable and ready for use at all times
- After deployment, you check the systems regularly and solve any problems that arise quickly and easily
- You also actively contribute to the use of modern deployment and CI tools to improve the workflow
- You automate recurring tasks with clever scripts and thus ensure greater efficiency
We are looking for
- You have completed a scientific master's or diploma degree in economics or natural sciences (STEM) or have several years of comparable professional experience
- You are familiar with software deployment, from installation and configuration to ongoing system monitoring
- Project management experience, particularly in coordinating technical rollouts and collaborating across teams, is part of your skill set
- With strong analytical skills, you monitor system performance and swiftly identify and resolve operational issues
- You have successfully developed and optimized technical processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability over time
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and modern automation technologies enables you to streamline and support seamless workflows
- Your in-depth knowledge of network technologies and system administration includes access control and maintaining system availability
- Developing automation scripts to handle recurring tasks efficiently is something you approach with confidence and precision
- You communicate confidently in German and English (at least B2 level each)

Job information
- Pay grade E13 TVöD VKA-K. The classification is based on qualifications, the respective experience level is calculated on the basis of the number of years worked. You can find the collective agreement here .
- The weekly working time is possible from 20 to 38.5 hours. Please let us know how many hours you would like to work.
- 30 days of vacation are standard with us
