IT Network Manager/Team Lead (m/f/d)

As the IT Network Manager, you will lead and oversee the global network infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of performance, security, and reliability. You will be responsible for managing network operations, leading a team of specialists, defining corporate network standards, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive strategic initiatives.

Your Tasks:

• Lead and manage the global network team, providing technical direction and mentorship.

• Develop and enforce corporate standards and guidelines for LAN, WLAN, and WAN networks.

• Oversee the full lifecycle management of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and monitoring systems.

• Continuously optimize network performance, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

• Proactively identify, research, and resolve 2nd & 3rd level network issues related to Internet, Firewalls, LAN, WLAN, WAN, and other network components.

• Manage relationships with network solution providers and vendors to ensure optimal service delivery.

• Support global and local projects by providing expert guidance on network-related topics.

• Implement best practices in network architecture, security, and operations to align with business objectives.

Your Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in a senior role managing enterprise networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, Firewall) in the international enterprise environments

• Deep expertise in network technologies and protocols, including switching, routing, and advanced traffic control (Next-Generation Firewalls).

• Hands-on experience with Cisco (routers, switches, access points) or HPE Aruba technologies and Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiNAC).

• Strong background in managing and optimizing 24/7/365 network services globally.

• Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SNMP, Nagios, Zabbix) and ability to analyze performance metrics.

• Experience in IT project management (PMI, Agile, ITIL methodologies preferred).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) is an advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive and strategic mindset.

• Strong communication skills in English; German and other languages spoken within Swiss Krono are a plus (Polish, French)
