Our group Predictive Tissue Medicine is embedded in pathology, uro-oncology, and the Charité Comprehensive Cancer Center. Using modern quantitative methods, our primary research is focused on personalized diagnostics and therapy.
Overview of the position
- You are responsible for laboratory-based experimental work and the analysis of a research project involving the in vitro testing of therapeutics on primary cells and tissue
- You will also be able to contribute to additional projects, depending on your areas of interest

You will be employed as a research associate: According to §110 (4), 3 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (BerlHG), research staff are entitled to a reasonable amount of time during working hours for their own academic further qualification
What we are looking for
- You hold a degree in biology, (molecular) medicine, bioinformatics, or a related field
- You have experience independently conducting basic laboratory experimental work
- You combine an efficient working style with attention to detail and goal-oriented thinking
- You are skilled in using basic analytical tools (e.g., MS Office)
- You have basic knowledge of applying fundamental statistical principles and/or performing basic bioinformatics and/or are willing to gain more experience in these fields
- Optionally, you may already have collected experience with proteomics and/or other omics methods
- You want your research to contribute to medical progress

Information regarding the position
- Paygrade E13 according to TVöD VKA-K. Your job grade depends on your job qualification whereas the experience level depends on the number of working years. The yearly gross salary is hereby provided based on a full time position excluding yearly bonus and additional pay. You may find further information here
- Working hours: 25 per week
- The position is limited until 31.07.2028, as it is tied to the project duration
- 30 days of paid vacation per year
