Join the Information Security team in the Information Security Central Service of Helios Kliniken GmbH nationwide at the earliest possible date as

Regional Head of Information Security (m/f/d).

• As Regional Head of Information Security, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of our security strategy in your region.
• You will act as a thought leader, consultant and implementer and make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of our information security.
• You will act as a regional interface between clinics, IT, specialist departments and management. In this role, you will report directly to the CISO of Helios Kliniken GmbH
• Strategic management and consulting:
• You will implement regional security policies and processes based on the group-wide security strategy, taking into account the specific needs & requirements of your clinics
• You advise the executive boards and management of the medical facilities on all information security issues and raise awareness of current threats and risks
• You initiate and manage projects to strengthen information security in your region and ensure their sustainable success
• Risk management and compliance:
• You carry out regular risk analyses, assess the threat situation, identify vulnerabilities and develop targeted measures to minimize risks. In particular, this includes processes, ICT systems and medical technology (including DIN ISO 80001)
• You ensure compliance with current and future regulatory and internal information security requirements (e.g. BSIG, KRITIS regulation, B3S, ISO 27K, NIS2UmsuCG)
• You plan, coordinate and accompany internal and external audits and support certification processes
• Operational implementation and control:
• You coordinate and monitor the implementation of security measures in the facilities and continuously evaluate their effectiveness
• You take responsibility for security incident management in the region and, if necessary, lead the investigation and resolution of security incidents
• You strengthen the security awareness of employees through targeted training and effective and awareness campaigns
• Stakeholder management and collaboration :
• You will work with a variety of internal and external contacts at different levels including IT, physicians, nursing staff and management
• You will coordinate and promote collaboration between regions, the central information security team and relevant interfaces, such as data protection, compliance and external service providers, and ensure efficient coordination

Qualifications:

Degree in (business) informatics, information security or a comparable qualification

Relevant professional experience (at least 5 years) in the field of information security, ideally in the healthcare sector or another regulated environment

In-depth knowledge of the relevant standards and norms (e.g. NIST, BSIG, ISO 27K, BSI basic protection, GDPR, KRITIS)

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or comparable are an advantage

Experience:

You communicate convincingly, inspire others with your ideas and implement them effectively

You can analyze, structure and communicate complex issues in an understandable way

You have strong analytical, conceptual and strategic skills as well as a high sense of responsibility and integrity

You have negotiating skills and assertiveness

You are willing to travel within the assigned region

You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
