Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage Data migration activities including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, mock loads, and cutover support.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to define migration objects, mapping rules, cleansing requirements, and load approach.
• Provide hands-on leadership in BODS/Syniti development, including job design, transformation logic, data quality checks, error handling, and performance optimization.
• Govern and manage data cleansing activities, issue resolution, defect tracking, and reporting of migration progress, risks, and dependencies to project leadership.
• Mentor junior team members, review technical deliverables, and ensure adherence to migration standards, best practices, and overall delivery quality.

Expectations

• Experience with strong exposure to data migration in large ERP/SAP transformation programs.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) for ETL development, transformation, and data load processes.
• Strong working knowledge of Syniti for migration orchestration, data quality, governance, and migration management.
• Experience in data cleansing, enrichment, standardization, deduplication, and validation for master and transactional data.
• Strong understanding of source-to-target mapping, data transformation rules, reconciliation logic, and load sequencing.
• Experience in developing and executing migration mock cycles, dress rehearsals, cutover planning, and production load support.
• Ability to analyze complex data issues and provide technical solutions for migration defects, inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
• Good understanding of SAP data objects and integration touchpoints across functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Materials, Customer, or Manufacturing.
• Strong SQL and database skills with experience in handling large data volumes and optimizing extraction/load performance.
• Experience in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and driving workshops with business and functional teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and governance skills with the ability to manage teams and deliver under tight timelines.
