TissUse GmbH is a Berlin-based company providing high-value services in the area of tissue culture analysis of drug candidates, cosmetics, chemicals and consumer products. TissUse’s proprietary technology platform comprises miniature organ-like structures connected by microchannels or by vasculature, building up the so called multi-organ-chip.

We’re looking for curious and motivated students who are ready to engage in laboratory work using human primary cell types. The tasks will include the isolation of primary cells and the preparation of 3D tissue-engineered cultures and multi-organ-chip related assays to establish and evaluate dynamic organ models.

Starting date: September-October 2016.

Interested candidates should have the following requirements:

· BSc degree in the following subjects: Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or equivalent

· In-depth knowledge of human primary cells and practical experience handling cell cultures

· Commitment, independent work and team spirit
