For permanent employment OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a
Electrical Propulsion Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
Focusing on the development of new space projects in the realization phase as part of the satellite team, co-ordination of propulsion requirements and technical interfaces within the satellite platform and with the subcontractor.
Your Tasks
- Technical management of procurement activities for equipment (Thruster, PPU, Flow Control) from suppliers, with support by the central procurement organization
- Performing analyses to size and support design of the subsystem
- Development of adequate verification philosophy on subsystem and equipment level, incl. specification of test requirements for platform testing
- Generation of technical documentation, e.g. specifications, analyses, reports
- Planning, coordination and control of design and analysis activities
- Support to subsystem MAIT activities and LEOP phase
- Support proposal activities
- Support associated technology developments
Your Qualifications
- Degree in aerospace engineering, physics or comparable qualification
- Ideally, some years of professional experience in space industry in the EP propulsion domain
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills
- Accustomed to work in teams with well-developed communication skills
- Test experience would be of advantage
- Experience in Systems Engineering and Requirements Engineering
- Fluent in written and spoken English, German language skills are advantageous
