For permanent employment OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a
Navigation Payload System Engineer (m/f/d)
Your mission is to support the integration, test launch and in-orbit test of the upcoming satellites with emphasis the Navigation Payload. As part of this activity you will define test plans, support the execution of tests, assess these and present your conclusions to the customer. The mission will include travelling to the In orbit testing facilities.
Your Tasks
- Responsibility for the System- and Subsystem Requirements
- Coordinate the system/architecture
- Define design concepts and implementation plans, assess their compliance to formulated requirements, costs, schedule and risks
- Support implementation of agreed changes to the design and deliverables, e.g. of RFWs (request for waiver) or RFDs (request for deviation) or CCNs (contract change note)
- Write test specifications, support procedure generation & execution and evaluate test results for requirements verification
- Contribute to appropriate and punctual Launch, LEOP (Launch and Early Orbit Phase) and IOT (In Orbit Test phase) preparation and support the activities during these phases
Your Qualifications
- Completed studies (e.g. PhD, Diploma, Master) in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent qualification
- Cost efficient and solution oriented attitude
- Fluent in English
- Enthusiasm for space
- Familiar with Matlab
- Experience in one or more of the following domains:
- Navigation
- Signal processing
- Automatized test systems/measurement equipment
- Model based system engineering
- Software defined radio
