Your Role:

As a Senior Compliance Expert Policies & Trainings, you will be a key member of our Center of Expertise (CoE) for Compliance, reporting directly to the Director Compliance & Global AML Lead. This role is central to the effectiveness of our global Compliance Management System (CMS).

In this pivotal position, you will take ownership of the global compliance policy framework and lead the design and implementation of our training and communication strategies. You will collaborate closely within the CoE to operationalize the policy framework through our tools and processes. Your responsibilities include:

  • Implementing a structured, regular review cycle for existing global policies and related training programs
  • Continuously updating and streamlining the policy framework and training strategy to enhance clarity and effectiveness
  • Drafting new global compliance policies and developing engaging training content
  • Collaborating within cross-functional teams to develop policies aligned with global compliance standards
  • Ensuring consistent interpretation of policies across the organization and managing decisions on local deviations
  • Driving compliance awareness through targeted communication initiatives
  • Playing an integral role in risk assessment and monitoring activities to guarantee uniform application of the policy framework
  • Partnering closely with the tools and processes team to embed the policy framework efficiently and smartly
  • Aligning with stakeholders across all businesses and hierarchy levels

Additionally, you will support Anti-Money Laundering (AML) activities and contribute to various compliance-related ad hoc projects as assigned.

The CoE is responsible for designing and rolling out the Compliance Management System (CMS), providing a global Compliance Program, standards, governance, and centralized expertise and tools. The CoE is organized into three teams, each focusing on key CMS elements. Your team, based in Germany and Poland, consists of colleagues specializing in Risk Assessment, Policies & Procedures, Training & Awareness, Monitoring & Controls, and AML.

Who You Are:

  • A compliance officer or lawyer with at least 6 years of experience in a Legal & Compliance function
  • A curious and analytical thinker, familiar with regulatory frameworks and motivated to simplify and improve policy frameworks and CMS processes
  • A strong communicator and collaborative team player, comfortable working in cross-functional and international teams with a high sense of ownership and readiness to take on additional responsibilities
  • Skilled in project management with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver results within deadlines
  • Digitally savvy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an affinity for training design, tools, and processes, and eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Experienced in working within an international environment and across cultures, thriving in a global work setting
  • Comfortable engaging with all management levels and adept at understanding the legal, financial, business, and communication aspects relevant to the role
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written); knowledge of German or other languages is an advantage
