Planner Demand Planning
Are you looking for a challenging Supply Chain role at the very heart of the organization, right between commercial teams and factories? This could be your chance! We are looking for a Demand Planner within Consumer Dairy Germany to strengthen our ambitious team in one of the fastest growing OpCos.
As a Demand Planner, you create, monitor, enrich, and continuously improve the demand plan (0–18 months) in close collaboration with the commercial teams (e.g. Sales and Marketing), aligned with Finance and Supply Chain. Your primary responsibility is the baseline forecast, while actively challenging Sales on promotional forecasting.
You play a vital role in ensuring the best service levels for our leading dairy brands towards our customers, in a role that offers a lot of variety — combining strong analytical work with intensive stakeholder management.
- Pro-active attitude
- Strong analytical skills
- Customer-focused, with the ability to act with speed and decisiveness to achieve the best results
- Ownership mentality: you take responsibility for your work and continuously look for opportunities to improve and make a difference
- Strong communication skills; comfortable dealing with time pressure and frequently resetting priorities in a changing environment
- Knowledge of SAP, OMP, MicroStrategy & MS Office; experience with planning software and/or dashboarding tools is a plus
- Fluent in English
Was wir bieten
- hybrid working model with 2 days in the office
- a friendly corporate culture with flat hierarchies in a dynamic, motivated team
- an innovative and communicative open-space office concept
- attractive and performance-related renumeration, attractive social benefits and a company pension scheme
- benefits such as free-parking, subsidies for public transportation, free products for consumption in our social area
- personal and professional development opportunities via our in-house academy
Stellenbeschreibung
- You create demand plans based on baseline (statistical) forecasts, enriched with input from commercial teams, covering both the operational horizon (0–13 weeks) and the tactical horizon (4–18 months)
- You understand the impact of business dynamics and translate these into the demand plan, including NPD, phase-in/out, promotions, events, seasonality, tenders, contracts, and activations
- You actively manage your key KPIs (service level, waste, forecast accuracy & bias) using a PDCA mindset and methodology
- You work closely with many stakeholders on a daily basis, especially Sales and Supply Planning
- You are eager to help improve our organization and are willing to participate in (multi-disciplinary) projects to further grow our S&OP maturity
Details zum Team
You will join the central European Demand Planning team, focusing on Germany. The team is part of the Customer Supply Chain organization. As the name suggests, we are highly customer-focused and supported by a mirrored organization that works in close daily collaboration with the commercial teams.
The team mindset is driven by the ambition to be — and remain — the best dairy supplier to retail in all aspects. We operate in an environment where fun, openness, positivity, and collaboration are considered essential.
About FrieslandCampina:
At FrieslandCampina, we work together every day to produce healthy and sustainable nutrition for all. People are at the heart of our business — not only as consumers, but also as colleagues. We strive to reflect the diversity of our consumers in our personnel policy.
The world is changing rapidly and becoming increasingly complex. FrieslandCampina is one of the largest dairy companies in the world, with a unique cooperative structure where our farmers are both owners and suppliers. We are successful because we know how to create value from milk — commercially as well as nutritionally.
We believe in equality, inclusion, and respect. Everyone is unique, yet equally important. We are convinced that diversity makes the difference and that an inclusive working environment leads to greater acceptance, innovation, and growth. FrieslandCampina is committed to providing a safe and inclusive workplace for everyone, enabling us all to reach our full potential.
Operating in highly competitive markets means we must keep innovating and sometimes take calculated risks to stay relevant. Both we and our farmers believe in fair business with a long-term focus — and for us, sustainability is a natural and logical outcome of that belief.
