Your responsibilities
- During the 18-24 months trainee program, you will develop a deep understanding of Uniper’s business, its value drivers, and the business environment
- You will start in Energy Assets for the first six months of your trainee program and then rotate flexibly upon your personal career development path and interests across the organization – you design your personal placement plan and receive support from your own mentor
- You will contribute to and learn from our trainee community, receive trainings and development opportunities
- In your predefined home unit within the Energy Assets Strategy department – Asset Parameter Management team, you will contribute to maximizing the value and optimizing the performance of Uniper’s power plants across multiple portfolios in key markets
- You will gain an in-depth understanding of the power business value chain and further develop your capabilities in optimizing existing assets as well as integrating new green assets into the portfolio
- You will be actively involved in implementing our digitalization strategy and gain hands-on experience in applying the latest technological developments to real business challenges, supporting both your professional growth and practical learning
Your profile
Successfully completed studies in business administration, (electrical, mechanical, industrial) engineering, economics or similar fields, ideally with a focus on the energy business
First practical experience gained through internships and/or working student activities, ideally including intercultural experiences
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
Experience in digitalization and us age of AI-enabled tools and the ability to apply them effectively in day-to-day work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of ownership, accountability, and results orientation
Structured and analytical working style, combined with a collaborative, proactive mindset
Excellent written and spoken English, German is a plus
