Microsystems Development Engineer (m/f/d)

As a development engineer in the Microsystems BU, you will plan and manage development projects based on X-FAB procedures and rules. The aim is to bring the projects to a successful conclusion in collaboration with other X-FAB departments and to hand them over to the operational organisation. As part of the project work, you will develop new process steps or inline and PCM test structures with the X-FAB relevant teams (e.g. Process Characterization) in collaboration with the PE team. Internal and external customer communication as well as the documentation of tests and results according to X-FAB rules are part of your daily tasks.

Your role:

• Development of microsystem technologies and the associated production steps at wafer level
• Planning and management of development projects based on X-FAB processes and rules
• Development of new process steps in collaboration with the PE team
• Development of inline and PCM test structures in collaboration with the relevant X-FAB teams (e.g. process characterization)
• Collaboration with all X-FAB departments with the aim of successfully completing development projects and handing them over to the operational organization
• Co-operation with external customers and partners
• Documentation of tests and results according to X-FAB rules

Your profile:

• ​​​​​​​University degree/technician in physics, electrical engineering, microsystems, semiconductor technologies or similar. field
• You should be open and curious to implement new ideas and have good problem-solving skills.
• You have good communication skills & enjoy daily teamwork in a multicultural working environment
