This is an onsite position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Independent handling of incoming and outgoing mail, including preparation of internal distribution of incoming mail to all five German sites
- Receipt and forwarding of mail items in compliance with postal confidentiality regulations
- Regular driving activities between the German sites: laboratory samples, mail, and canteen supplies
- Independent planning and execution of minor renovations, repairs, and refurbishment work
- Participation and support in process optimization tasks and facility projects
- Collaboration within the Facility Management team in all daily operational tasks, such as coordination of external contractors, documentation, support with relocations, assistance with gardening and landscaping services, and system-based order postings
- Conducting inspection rounds
- Ordering materials and processing data in SAP, including posting of orders
- Support of the Fire Protection Officer and the Facility Engineering team
- Organization and administration of records
Education
- Completed vocational training in a skilled trade
Work Experience
- Several years of professional experience in facility management/building services
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong practical/technical craftsmanship skills
- Fire protection training is an advantage
- Willingness and flexibility to work at all German sites
- Valid driver’s license class B and BE
- English language skills are desirable
- Independent and responsible working style with quality and cost awareness
- Strong organizational and communication skills
