Your Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Director Business Systems and Data Management (m/f/d) to lead our Data Engineering, CRM, Data Warehouse, and Master Data Management teams. This critical leadership role drives the strategy, development, and optimization of our business-critical applications and data infrastructure. Reporting to senior leadership, you will mentor Product Owners, align technology solutions with our business objectives, and champion continuous process improvement across the company.

- Lead and develop cross-functional teams, including Data Engineering and Product Owners, fostering growth and delivery excellence.
- Drive the design, implementation, and roadmap for our CRM (Dynamics), Data Warehouse, and Master Data Management systems.
- Mentor Product Owners as they develop and execute strategic roadmaps for business systems and process improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure solutions meet evolving business needs.
- Define and manage OKRs for business systems teams, ensuring transparency, alignment, and progress.
- Promote best practices in data governance, privacy, and security throughout the company.
- Oversee high-performance data infrastructure—including ETL processes, data models, and big data platforms.
- Coordinate internal projects to optimize workflows, enhance data quality, and maximize business value.
- Provide expert guidance on emerging technologies and drive the evaluation of innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for technical and operational issues.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Several years of progressive experience in data engineering, business systems management, or a similar field, including significant leadership responsibility
- Track record of developing, implementing, and optimizing CRM (preferably Microsoft Dynamics), Data Warehouse, and Master Data Management systems.
- Proven success managing and mentoring Product Owners or technical project leads.
- Deep expertise with modern data engineering frameworks, cloud platforms, and data governance.
- Ability to translate business objectives into actionable technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Analytical thinker with a passion for solving complex problems and driving transformation.
- High personal integrity and professionalism, with an entrepreneurial spirit.
