Responsibilities
- Support in teaching in the field of biomedical engineering as well as independent implementation of courses and labs
- Preparing scientific publications and attending scientific conferences
- Preparation of project reports
- Support in the preparation of scientific research proposals
- Writing a doctoral thesis
- Assistance in the organization of scientific meetings & workshops
Admission Requirements
- Completed master's or diploma degree in biomedical engineering, computer science, information & computer engineering or similar studies
Desired Qualification
- Experience in electroencephalogram and electrospinogram, other biosignals
- Experience in biosignal processing
- Experience in nerve stimulation
- Knowledge in machine learning
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Interest in PhD Thesis
- Knowledge in inverse problems and forward models
- Willingness to be mobile (work in international projects, conferences, etc.)

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52,007.20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.

Organisational Unit
The Institute of Neural Engineering at Graz University of Technology is an internationally renowned research institution focusing on brain-computer communication, cognitive and computational neuroscience. We have extensive expertise in electroencephalography (EEG) recording, near-infrared spectroscopy, peripheral biosignals, offline and online signal processing of brain signals and other biosignals, feature extraction, machine learning methods applied to brain patterns, and neurofeedback systems.
