Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor high-voltage experiments
- Teach and support lectures and exercises in high-voltage testing and measurement, insulation systems, diagnostics, insulation coordination, and innovative technologies
- Conduct tests and diagnostic investigations in high-voltage engineering (components/devices/systems)
- Perform experimental investigations on insulating materials and insulation systems
- Simulate power/energy systems
- Contribute to high-voltage testing and measurement activities and new technologies in high-voltage engineering
- Support project management and institute administration
- Write a dissertation and participate in national and international expert committees and organizations
Admission Requirements
- Completed master's or diploma degree in the fields of electrical engineering, information technology or comparable
- Very good German & English skills
Desired Qualification
- Experience in teaching and research
- Interest in in-depth questions in research and teaching in the field of high-voltage technology
- Project management skills advantageous
- Interest in writing a dissertation in the institute's main research areas
- Enjoy working in a team and in an international context
- Communication skills
- Ability to work in a team

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52,865.40 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
