Location: Hamburg, Germany
We are looking for a Vetting Superintendent to join our team in Hamburg to oversee
vessel inspections and compliance across container, bulk, and tanker vessels. This is a
replacement role for a departing superintendent and requires a professional with broad
vetting experience and a proactive approach to operational risk management.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct vetting inspections and risk assessments for container, bulk, and some
tanker vessels.
* Support technical operations and ensure compliance with international
standards.
* Assist operational teams in managing vessel performance and maintenance.
* Liaise with ship management, owners, and external stakeholders regarding
vetting outcomes.
* Provide reports and recommendations to senior management.
* Participate in fleet expansion projects and vessel onboarding.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in vetting and compliance of container, bulk, and tanker
vessels.
* Ability to assist across multiple vessel types.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* English language proficiency required.
* Professional, reliable, and long-term mindset.
