For our Global Business Process Excellence Department we are looking for a Project Manager Budget to Report (B2R) (f/m/d).
As Project Manager B2R, you will be responsible for the identification of gaps between existing processes and the global business processes defined by the Global Process Owner (GPO) as well as for launching and monitoring process improvement initiatives. In this role you will support to develop and evaluate the processes and identify inconsistencies – globally – to meet the Group’s strategic objectives and to get a best practice approach. The Project Manager Budget to Report (B2R) is responsible for leading transformation and optimization initiatives across the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. The position focuses on operational excellence, financial transparency, and continuous improvement of B2R processes
This position is located in Heidelberg and you will report to the B2R GPO.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
Own and continuously improve B2R processes
Drive process standardization and simplification across entities
Reduce manual work and improve data consistency
Support implementation of best practices and governance frameworks
Ensure integrity and consistency of financial data across systems
Support automation and digitalization of reporting processes
Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and reporting standards
Maintain documentation of processes, and methodologies
Develop and maintain business policies which drive our processes
Detect and analyze business problems and suggest solutions
Communicate and facilitate discussions with the business owners, prepare and hold presentations to drive solutions on proposed features and functionalities
Work with Digital teams to ensure good fit to existing Infrastructure technologies and applications (where applicable), to obtain project budgets
Work with Group Departments to map business and functional requirements for standard application implementations and infrastructure technologies as required
Involvement in integration projects
Improve current processes to reach highly efficient performance indicators
Launching projects to identify best practices and to transfer the best-in-class solutions to the SSCs
Ensure the maintenance of effective risk control for all B2R processes
Willingness to travel to business offices as appropriate and as necessary
Close collaboration with the Global Process Owners
Process-oriented mindset with focus on continuous improvement
YOUR PROFILE
Education/Qualification
University degree
At least 5 years of experience in accounting, controlling, consolidation and/or shared services or Audit
Business Competence
Strong leadership skills
High IT affinity and skills required, especially SAP ERP, SAP BI, workflow systems, archiving, AI, RPA, etc.
Experience in multinational or matrix organizations is preferred
Substantial accounting experience; IFRS knowledge
Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
Management Skills
