We are looking for a motivated Working Student (m/f/d) to join our Area HR team for AMWA & Europe at our headquarters in Heidelberg. This position is available from December 1st and requires a commitment of at least 6 months, working 20 hours per week.
Our Area HR Team delivers both strategic and operational support to HR colleagues throughout Africa, Mediterranean, Western Asia, and Europe. In this role, you will support our international HR team and collaborate with colleagues across the Heidelberg Materials Group. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic global HR environment, working closely with team members and engaging with a diverse range of internal stakeholders.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
Operational Support : Assist the team with day-to-day tasks. This includes scheduling meetings, updating calendars, helping organize upcoming events or meetings, and revising and improving HR-related documents. Work with a variety of systems, including Workday, and stay open to learning new digital tools that support HR processes.
Communication & Knowledge Sharing : Support the development of the Area HR knowledge platform. Monitor relevant posts, upload updates to SharePoint, and ensure key information is accessible to the team.
Global Collaboration : Engage with HR colleagues across the Heidelberg Material markets. You’ll primarily interact with HR professionals from various countries but also collaborate with other departments within the company.
Employee Experience Projects : Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and experience.
YOUR PROFILE
You are currently enrolled in a degree program such as Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, Intercultural Management, Languages, or a comparable field—ideally with a focus on Human Resources.
You are proficient in MS Office tools, especially Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
You bring strong intercultural competence and enjoy working in diverse, cross-cultural teams.
You have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex information and a keen eye for detail.
You are motivated, curious, proactive, and thrive in a collaborative team setting with colleagues from various backgrounds.
