Service Manager Central Canteen (mlwld)

Full-time, permanent

Your tasks

• Collaboration in the allocation and supervision of around thirty subordinate employees with corresponding authority to issue orders and instructions in coordination with the operations manager
• Organizing, planning and determining the performance of tasks and staff deployment
• Assisting with staff development and staff appraisals, including promotion planning for subordinate employees
• Ensuring that food and drinks are served on time in the canteen
• monitoring attendance, recording missing working hours and making corrective bookings
• Creating and monitoring vacation plans for subordinate employees
• monitoring all applicable safety and hygiene regulations in food establishments
• Supervising the provision of laundry by a service provider
• Supervising the cleaning of the central canteen building (daily quality control)

Your profile

• Completed training as a housekeeping manager, business manager or housekeeping operations manager
• At least two years of professional experience in a comparable position
• Leadership skills and experience and a willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
• Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, assertiveness, organizational talent and quality awareness
• People-oriented leadership and a high degree of discretion
• Certificate of instruction in accordance with Section 43 (1) of the Infection Protection Act
• Proficiency in written and spoken German
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of cost management
• Team spirit, high level of personal responsibility, high level of hygiene awareness
