SOFTSWISS is hiring a Senior Sales Manager based in Malta to join our FinteqHub team. We are looking for a high-performing, commercially driven sales professional with a strong track record in the payments industry.

А PCI DSS certified payment gateway for online businesses, providing integration with payment systems via a single software platform.
Purpose of the role:
This role is focused on driving new business acquisition in Malta, strengthening client relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
You will own the full sales cycle , from prospecting and strategic outreach to negotiations and deal closure, playing a key role in scaling our presence in the region.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and capture new business opportunities within the payment solutions market
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with merchants and partners
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, product presentation, negotiation, and closing
- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Business Development/Account Management teams to ensure successful onboarding and implementation
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
- Monitor industry trends, competitor landscape, and emerging market opportunities
Required Experience:
- Proven B2B sales experience within Fintech / Payments / Gateway / PSP companies (minimum 1–2 years)
- Solid understanding of payment gateway solutions, digital payments, or e-commerce ecosystems
- Established network within high-risk verticals such as forex, gambling, crypto (required)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build sustainable, long-term merchant relationships
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performance team
- Fluent English (C1+)
