Apprenticeship as a chef

During your three-year apprenticeship, you will acquire all the knowledge, skills and abilities you need for a successful start to your career. The practical part of the dual training takes place directly at our Bergson Kunstkraftwerk in Munich Aubing. Your focus will be on preparing and presenting creative dishes, handling high-quality ingredients and organizing kitchen processes.

You will receive an introductory workshop - together with other trainees at our company - in which you will get to know your new colleagues and our diverse divisions.

• So that you become a professional in practice

You will receive intensive training at Bergson Kunstkraftwerk and be involved in practice-oriented work right from the start. From the very first day, you will get to know the organization of kitchen processes, prepare creative dishes and participate in small and large event catering. You will immerse yourself in the world of cooking and learn how to prepare delicious and healthy dishes with passion. You will work closely with experienced chefs and gain experience in event and à la carte catering. You will also learn all about hygiene, cost control and food management.

• So that you also become an expert in theory

The Municipal Vocational School for the Hotel, Restaurant and Brewing Industry in Munich (Simon-Knoll-Platz 3, 81669 Munich ) will teach you everything you need to know to successfully complete your apprenticeship in blocks of lessons.

• You are interested in good and healthy food and are motivated to prepare high-quality dishes
• You have a good school-leaving certificate
• You show initiative, are team-oriented, enthusiastic, have a hands-on mentality and a sense of responsibility
• You are physically fit and maintain a professional demeanor even in challenging situations
• You are of legal age and willing to work at weekends, on public holidays, in the evenings or - within the framework of legal regulations - also at night (the typical " 9-to-5 job " is not your thing)
• You have very good German language skills (at least C1)
