1zu100 is automating construction planning. Together with exceptional architecture firms, we plan multi-unit residential buildings and deliver completed, permitted plans as a service.

TL;DR

We are hiring an excellent architect with 5+ years in German multi-unit residential buildings (Geschosswohnungsbau) who wants to plan buildings the way it will be done, not the way it has always been done. Our AI executes the details and the chore work in parallel. You validate what it produces, stand behind it in front of clients and create the architectural style of 1zu100. Munich, on-site, start as soon as possible.

The core of the role

• You validate what our AI produces within real projects: confirm that each plan is sound, set out the reasoning, and fix what isn't. Your judgment is the quality gate.

• You present the results to clients, partner architects and developers, explain the decisions behind them and defend them under challenge.

• You take projects across the Leistungsphasen, from Entwurf to Bauantrag to Ausführungsplanung, alongside the founders and our partner offices.

• You create the architectural style of 1zu100. There is no established way of working yet. You build it with us.

Contributing to the technology

• Formalize how good residential planning works (ratios, grids, rules of thumb, code thresholds) into criteria the engineering team can build on.

• Assess model outputs and help define the standards for architectural quality our evals measure against.

• Work daily with the founders and engineers in the same loop. What you flag today is fixed in the tool tomorrow.

What we're looking for

• A degree in architecture.

• 5+ years in German multi-unit residential buildings (Geschosswohnungsbau).

• German at B2 level or higher.

• High agency and an entrepreneurial drive. You know how much chore work sits in architecture, and you understand that AI is going to change architecture and construction drastically.

• Nice to have: a Master's degree, Bauvorlageberechtigung, experience with BIM, scripting or AI tooling, and a non-linear CV.
