A growing Japanese car-related company based in Germany is currently expanding their international operations into markets in Europe.
They are currently recruiting a Logistics Coordinator who will manage import-export matters.
Business level of English and some German skill will be required.
Japanese language skills will be highly advantageous.

WORK TYPE: Hybrid working available *four days office / one day remote work
VISA: The company will not be able to support work permit, however will be able to provide support documents for visa extension

WORKING HOURS: 8:30-17:30 from Monday to Friday
SALARY: €50-55K depending on experience, plus good benefits
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Munich, Germany
RESPONSIBILITY:
• Order management
• Inventory control (ensuring appropriate stock levels in response to order fluctuations)
• Demand and supply coordination with customers, including negotiations regarding air freight charges due to order fluctuations
• Import cargo management (including communication with shipping factories and freight forwarders)
• Preparation of import/export documentation and liaising with shipping companies
• Inbound and outbound shipment management: monitoring warehouse inventory and arranging shipments based on customer orders
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Experience in logistics operations at a supplier
• Experience in demand and supply operations
• Proficiency in Excel for spreadsheet calculations
• Ability to lead projects such as warehouse relocation planning
• Experience using trade-related systems is advantageous
• Business level Japanese, English
• Strong PC skills (preferably with the ability to create simple macros in Excel)
