You’ll make an impact by
- Semantic Discovery & Workshops:
- Preparing and assisting in workshops with business stakeholders to capture key domain knowledge.
- Documenting processes, terms, definitions and relationships while identifying inconsistencies across hubs.
- Business Process Analysis:
- Reviewing business documentation, processes and system logic to break down complex operations into structured semantic elements.
- Identifying entities, attributes, business rules and interactions.
- Building Conceptual Ontologies:
- Contributing to the creation of conceptual semantic models (no programming required).
- Maintaining modeling templates, glossaries and semantic libraries.
- Collaboration with Technical Teams:
- Supporting technical graph engineers by providing business context and validating implementations against business reality.
- Preparing semantic specifications and handover materials to ensure alignment.
- Governance & Documentation:
- Maintaining definitions, naming conventions, change logs and updating semantic artifacts.
- Ensuring semantic documentation is organized and easily accessible, including version management.
- Enablement & Internal Support:
- Creating visualizations, summaries and training materials for stakeholders.
- Supporting the onboarding process into the ontology approach and building a Community of Practice.
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field.
- Experience & Skills:
- First experience in business analysis, data analysis, consulting, process management or similar roles.
- Strong analytical and structured thinking with the ability to simplify complexity into logical components.
- Interest in AI, semantic modeling, process improvement or enterprise architecture.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ways of working:
- Structured and process-oriented with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Proactive engagement with challenges, paired with curiosity for new tools and solutions.
- Ability to adapt in dynamic environments and multitask effectively.
- Languages: Fluent English is essential; German proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to BPMN, UML, taxonomies, or conceptual modeling methods.
- Familiarity with AI/ML, knowledge graphs, or information architecture (conceptual frameworks).
- Hands-on experience with tools like Miro, Confluence, Jira, or basic modeling tools.
