As a Partner of Choice, the Global Business Services (GBS) shapes the Shared Services landscape of the future by providing smart and digital end-to-end solutions to over 100 Siemens entities across the world, in around 20 different languages.
You’ll make an impact by
- Managing the administrative tasks of the Business Line Head, including scheduling appointments, coordinating daily workflows and managing internal and external correspondence.
- Planning and organizing workshops while providing content-related support for your team.
- Handling departmental P&O support activities, such as approving vacation requests, booking travel and processing travel expenses.
- Supporting the onboarding of new employees and acting as the go-to contact for all internal team processes.
- Resolving smaller IT-related issues such as setting up mobile devices or troubleshooting questions related to tools.
- Overseeing complete order processing, including obtaining and reviewing quotes, creating purchase orders and managing invoice processing.
- Building strong internal and external networks while independently coordinating activities with relevant contacts.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging tools and working methods and proactively integrating them into the team’s routine.
- Providing strategic support for projects and talent development programs within GBS, fostering collaboration in an international environment.
- Contributing fresh ideas and independently taking charge of their implementation.
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: You have a commercial apprenticeship in office administration/ communication, foreign languages, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience & Skills:
- Serveral years of relevant professional experience in team assistance/ secretarial services with demonstrated track record of supporting management at all hierarchical levels and interacting with external clients.
- Familiarity with GBS or shared services environments is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office 365 applications (e.g., MS Teams) and experienced in SAP, OneSRM and other administrative systems/tools.
- Comfortably skilled in incorporating social media tools and modern working methods into daily operations.
