What your day will look like
At Thinkproject, we’re looking for an experienced Partner Manager to grow our partner business in Germany.
You will develop an existing network of local resellers, grow a strategic relationship with a major global consulting and technology partner, and establish new partnerships with consulting firms and systems integrators.
Key responsibilities:
Develop strategic alliances and coordinate complex opportunities
- Build relationships across partners’ leadership, industry, sales and delivery teams.
- Identify opportunities that combine Thinkproject’s solutions with partners’ consulting and implementation capabilities.
- Coordinate the partnership dimension of complex bids and RFPs, establishing clear responsibilities, timelines and contributions.
- Align Sales, Presales, Services, Product and Legal teams around a coherent customer proposition, commercial approach and delivery scope.
- Maintain momentum through qualification, proposal development, negotiation and handover to delivery teams.
Build new partnerships from the ground up
- Identify and engage consulting firms and systems integrators with strong potential in the German market.
- Assess strategic fit, customer overlap, delivery capabilities and commercial commitment.
- Develop the joint business case and coordinate agreements, onboarding and enablement.
- Activate new partnerships through focused propositions, target accounts and initial opportunities.
Grow our local reseller business
- Build and execute joint business plans with clear revenue targets, priority accounts and mutual commitments.
- Help partners generate, qualify and progress opportunities through joint account planning and regular pipeline reviews.
- Coordinate sales and technical enablement with our internal teams.
Bring structure and accountability
- Maintain actionable partner plans, stakeholder maps and accurate opportunity reporting.
- Run business reviews that lead to decisions, clear ownership and concrete next steps.
- Track partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, revenue and progress on joint opportunities.
- Balance long-term alliance development with near-term commercial results.
- Review partner performance, address gaps and prioritize growth opportunities
What you need to fulfill the role
- At least five years of relevant experience in partner management, strategic alliances or business development within enterprise software or SaaS.
- Proven success developing reseller business and working with consulting firms or systems integrators.
- Experience coordinating complex enterprise opportunities or RFPs involving multiple organisations and stakeholders.
- A track record of building partnerships from initial outreach through activation and first commercial results.
- A structured approach: you turn objectives into plans, anticipate dependencies and follow through on commitments.
- Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Confidence engaging senior executives and working closely with operational sales and delivery teams.
- Fluent German and professional English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and elsewhere in Europe for partner meetings, customer opportunities and events
The little plus to make the difference?
Some experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering software or digital transformation!
