The Mission
The Business Architect serves as the strategic orchestrator between the Quality function and the broader digital ecosystem of Airbus.
Positioned at the heart of our transformation, this role is responsible for designing the"digital nervous system"of Quality. You will ensure that processes, methods, and tools (PMT) are not only aligned with global aerospace strategies (DTO/IM/DDMS) but are also robust enough to support the next generation of aircraft programs.This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Modeling & Blueprinting:Create comprehensive E2E models inEnterprise Architectusing ArchiMate and BPMN, delivering program-independent architecture baselines that scale across business lines.
Landscape & Roadmap Management:Conduct systematic "As-Is" assessments of the Quality PMT landscape and formulate transition roadmaps to the "Target" state, synchronized with major program milestones.
Strategic Alignment:Act as the guardian of data continuity and traceability, ensuring the seamless integration of Quality architecture with company-wide strategies (DDMS, PLM, ERP).
Integration & Readiness Reviews:Support Architecture Decision Boards (ADB) and Change Control Boards (CCB) by providing data-driven insights and assessing PMT maturity during critical reviews (CDR/TRR/IRR).
Performance Engineering:Drive the Quality Performance Management System (PMS) by linking time, cost, and quality metrics to the digital roadmap (ERP, NC-CAPA) to strengthen governance.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Masters in Industrial Engineering/ Management or Masters in Information and Technology
Proven ability to navigate complex E2E process integrations while maintaining a generic architecture baseline independent of specific program constraints.
High proficiency inEnterprise Architectand industry-standard modeling languages (ArchiMateandBPMN).
Deep understanding of transformation drivers such as PLM, ERP modernization, andDDMS(Digital Discovery and Manufacturing Services).
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical architectures into strategic value for senior leadership and program managers. Communicative, Confident, Cooperative, Responsible, Analytical, Ability to prevent/identify/solve problems
Experience in mapping business requirements to digital infrastructure and managing the inflow of digital use cases.
Languages: Advanced level in English keep knowledge of German, French and Spanish language as a plus.
