Our client, a leading company in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Team Leader – Mechanical Systems Engineering to join their team in Switzerland on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Mechanical Systems Engineers.
• Oversee the design, development, and integration of aerospace mechanical systems (e.g. actuation systems, structural components, mechanical control systems).
• Ensure compliance with EASA / FAA regulations and internal quality standards.
• Act as the technical focal point between engineering, program management, manufacturing, and external partners.
• Plan and monitor project activities, resources, timelines, and technical deliverables.
• Support system verification, validation, and certification activities.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best engineering practices within the team.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in mechanical systems engineering within the aerospace sector.
• Previous experience in a technical leadership or team lead role.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and aerospace development processes.
• Familiarity with certification standards and documentation (EASA / FAA).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
