Tasks:
- Research and publication activities in the subject area
- Teaching and assisting with examinations at Bachelor and Master level in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics
- Supervision of students
- Participation in and organization of scientific events
- Participation in organizational and administrative tasks and in evaluation measures
- Commitment to contributing to the acquisition of external research funding
- Opportunity for habilitation is provided
Your profile:
- Completed doctoral studies in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics, stochastic analysis, or a closely related field of mathematics (you are welcome ot apply with nearly completed doctoral studies, but the employment can only start after completion).
- Familiarity with academic/scientific work
- Advanced knowledge in the relevant subject area
- Experience with presentations
- Teaching experience is advantageous
- Excellent command of English
- German language skills are advantageous
- Organizational and analytical skills and structured way of working
- Interest and enthusiasm for research and working with students
- Teamwork skills and problem-solving competence
