Investor Relations Graduate

Über diesen Job

Launch your career with impact!

We’re looking for curious, motivated graduates with strong people skills who want to grow, learn, and make a difference. If you hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD and have up to three years of professional experience, apply to our 18-month Graduate Programme starting 1 September 2026.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of reinsurance, rotate into a different team, and receive tailored training to build your expertise. This is your chance to shape your future – and help protect societies from the world’s most complex risks.

About the Role

As a Graduate in Swiss Re's Investor Relations team, you'll dive into the fascinating intersection of finance, communication, and strategy. Over 18 months, you'll develop expertise in translating complex financial information into compelling narratives that drive investor confidence and understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare external presentations and materials that clearly explain our financial performance to investors and analysts
  • Collaborate across different business areas to gather insights and create cohesive financial narratives
  • Support the planning, organization, and delivery of our high-profile annual Investors' Day
  • Conduct in-depth research on investor perceptions, peer performance, market trends, and share price developments
  • Prepare internal reports to keep senior leadership informed of market developments
  • Assist in responding to inquiries from investors and analysts about our financial performance and strategy
  • Participate in investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences alongside senior executives

About the Team

As part of our Investor Relations team, you will be at the heart of how we communicate our strategy and performance to the investor and analyst community. You will support the team in engaging with investors and analysts, helping them understand Swiss Re's results, outlook, and key priorities. The role offers frequent exposure to senior leadership, whether by attending investor meetings or supporting roadshows and conferences alongside senior executives. It's a great opportunity to gain deep insights into how a global reinsurer is valued, and to be closely involved in the conversations that shape investor perceptions.

You're a curious, analytical thinker with a passion for financial markets and excellent communication skills. You thrive in fast-paced environments, can translate complex concepts into clear messages, and are eager to learn about the reinsurance industry from the ground up. Your attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information make you a trusted team member.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree (preferably in Finance or Economics) with up to 3 years of professional experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and perform under pressure
  • Team player, able to perform under pressure and handle confidential information appropriately
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

These are additional nice to haves:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Additional language proficiency, particularly German
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Previous internship or work experience in insurance or financial services

The base salary range for this position will be shared with you during the interview process.

The application process is open for at least 4 weeks and if you do not hear from us within this time frame, it does not mean your application is ignored. We will get back to you latest by mid-November.
