We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to strengthen our "Product & Business Development team” (Traditional Custody) within the Securities Services business unit. In this pivotal role, you will take end-to-end ownership of the Asset Servicing product portfolio, from strategic positioning to life cycle management.
Your mandate will be to shape/develop the "Corporate Action”, "Income” & "Main Paying Agent” services for both the domestic and international markets, while leading/supporting major change‑the‑business initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and contribute to the strategic development of SIX
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute the product strategy & development roadmap, managing the product lifecycle, continuously aligning the services with client needs, regulatory developments and industry trends. Create innovative product concepts and conduct thorough analysis and assessments to prepare decision-making materials for the executive management.
- Gather, structure and prioritize client requirements, translating them into scalable product concepts validated through client workshops, stakeholder alignment and market testing.
- Analyze/challenge the product financials to identify and implement optimization measures. Support key client meetings with expert knowledge and maintain marketing materials such as client presentations and product fact sheets.
- Initiate and lead special projects and working groups within the Asset Servicing area. Define business requirements and work closely with cross-functional teams, such as relationship management, business development, operations, pricing, network management & legal to drive efficiency and growth.
What You Bring
- Minimum of 5 years in product management or consultancy, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and developing effective product strategies and concepts.
- In-depth understanding of the Swiss and International financial industry, particularly in securities services/post-trading and asset servicing (e.g. corporate actions, income processing, main paying agent services).
- Proactive/self-driven, with strong analytical and conceptual abilities, a structured approach, and a results-oriented mindset. Demonstrated capability to manage multiple complex topics in parallel, while consistently delivering high-quality outcomes on time.
- Proven ability to collaborate across a matrix organization, engaging with executive management and change-the-business organization (e.g. project management, business analysis & IT). Experience representing the company in external committees, industry bodies, and high-profile client meetings. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to Asset Servicing (e.g. SRD II, CSDR) and the ability to translate regulatory developments into product requirements and strategic roadmap adjustments. Familiarity with international market standards such as SWIFT/ISO 15022/20022 messaging standards.
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English; additional languages such as Spanish are a plus.
