Our dumpling bar at Globus Bellevue is designed as a fast-paced, quality-driven, and vibrant operation, where great food meets efficient, friendly service. The concept is strongly focused: dumplings arrive frozen and are finished on-site through steaming, assembling, and mise en place, ensuring fast delivery and high quality.
This location is a key step in Madame Sum’s expansion and will serve as a reference for future openings.
Tasks
We are looking for Team Members who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-facing food environment and take pride in doing simple things extremely well.
This role combines guest service, basic kitchen execution, and teamwork. You will be an essential part of the daily operation, supporting both front-of-house and kitchen activities to deliver a smooth, high-quality guest experience.
This is a hands-on, on-the-floor role. You will be actively involved in service during lunch, dinner, and weekends.
You will work closely with the Operations Lead and the rest of the team, contributing to a positive atmosphere, efficient service flow, and consistently great food.
Guest experience & service
- Welcome guests warmly and take orders at the counter
- Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service
- Handle payments and basic POS operations
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming front-of-house area
Kitchen operations
- Execute on-site food preparation: steaming dumplings, assembling dishes, and managing mise en place
- Handle frozen products correctly and follow preparation procedures
- Support speed, accuracy, and consistency during service
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness according to HACCP
Operations & teamwork
- Support smooth lunch and dinner services
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Work flexibly across stations (counter, kitchen, cleaning)
- Communicate clearly and support teammates during busy services
- Follow instructions and operational standards set by the Operations Lead
Requirements
Experience & skills
- Previous experience (2+years) in hospitality or fast casual is a plus
- Comfortable working both with customers and in the kitchen
- Willing to learn food preparation and service standards
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
