We are looking for the following position(s) for our Transcend Program: Change & Adoption Manager.
This position will be located (onsite/hybrid) in ; Titusville, New Jersey. Alternate onsite/hybrid locations may be considered at other Innovative Medicine Supply Chain hub sites such as Raritan, New Jersey; Gurabo, Puerto Rico; Beerse, Belgium; Leiden, Netherlands; Cork, Ireland; Latina, Italy; Zug, Switzerland.
Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one "clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.
The Change & Adoption Manager will be accountable for end-to-end (E2E) change and adoption activities within their scope. They will cultivate a deep understanding of the E2E organization and build strong relationships with functional teams and business partners to drive successful change implementation.
Central to their responsibilities is a focus on the human aspect of change—preparing and sharing change artifacts to drive critical discussions around business processes, systems, technology, and role shifts. They will collaborate with peers in Business Readiness, Learning & Development, and our Communications & Engagement teams to monitor change targets and track progress for their respective areas.
This role also plays a critical part in managing resistance and driving acceptance of change through proactive engagement and inclusive dialogue. The successful candidate will build and sustain diverse business partnerships across the Innovative Medicine community, particularly within Supply Chain functional areas, to lead global change initiatives tied to the transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead execution of change strategy for the Transcend program, emphasizing engagement and understanding of Transcend's value proposition across the E2E continuum.
Facilitate workshops to build and validate global change artifacts such as personas, user journeys, pain points, change impact assessments, and experience/value identification.
Collect and measure relevant metrics for owned functional workstreams using global frameworks and methodologies.
Build a comprehensive change story across personas, functions, and capabilities to support business communications at various levels.
Collaborate closely with PMO, Site Enablement, and Business Readiness teams to implement robust readiness plans for successful platform migration.
Identify and communicate training needs associated with global change impacts and support adjacent organizations on adoption and communication elements.
Coordinate with workstream leads (Site Enablement, Business Readiness, Process, PMO) to share critical artifacts and track progress.
Challenge the status quo to ensure process efficiencies and realization of business value.
Drive dialogue with process design and business contacts to ensure change impacts are captured and addressed.
Build partnerships with business, functional, and process leaders to drive successful outcomes related to the people side of change.
Contribute strategic inputs to the Communications and Engagement Strategy.
Partner with Business Readiness leads to define and execute readiness assessments and checklists across impacted functions and geographies.
Support the development and execution of both global function and site-level readiness plans, including stakeholder engagement, capability assessments, and transition planning.
Monitor and report on business readiness indicators and escalate risks or gaps to leadership for resolution.
Ensure alignment between change impacts and readiness activities, including training, communications, and leadership engagement.
Facilitate readiness workshops and feedback sessions to validate preparedness and identify additional support needs.
Act as a key point of contact for readiness-related escalations and ensure timely resolution through cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s / University degree strongly preferred, ideally in Supply Chain, Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, or Organizational Psychology.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in one or more Supply Chain functions (e.g., Plan, Source, Make, Deliver).
Hands-on experience with change management and business adoption methodologies and techniques (e.g., personas, journey maps, impact assessments, mitigation strategies).
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adept at identifying risks and devising mitigation strategies.
Preferred:
Change Management experience in leading large, complex change programs.
Experience supporting change within large-scale SAP/ERP implementations is highly preferred.
Exposure to non-functional domains such as R&D, Finance, and Data.
Other:
Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal) required; additional language proficiency in German, Dutch, Spanish, or Italian is helpful.
Role will require up to 30% travel (domestic and/or international).
Must be able to work on-site a minimum of three days per week, with two remote workdays allowed.
