Anova Seafood has two different tuna species in its product range: Albacore tuna (Thunnus alalunga) and Yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares). Our Albacore tuna is from the Fiji Islands where local fishermen use long-lines with circle hooks to catch the tuna. Yellowfin tuna is caught in Indonesia using traditional hand lines only.
