This afternoon, a special renaming ceremony will take place at NASA HQ in #Washington.
Copernicus EU #Sentinel6 will be officially changed and you can watch the ceremony live from 15:00 CET via NASA TV here: https://lnkd.in/d-z-wAW
The Sentinel-6 mission is a collaboration between the European Commission, NASA, NOAA, EUMETSAT and ESA and is scheduled for launch later in the year.
On January 3, the Copernicus EU Sentinel-3 satellites captured the smoke plumes generated by the Australian bush fires. These fires produced a thick brown cloud travelling across the Pacific Ocean.
