Dear team,
what a sad weekend this has been and it left me speechless. As many of you know, I'm myself half German, half Persian, born in Ecuador and grew up in so many different places around the world.
I write to express my solidarity with all GSG families, especially with those of color. As a community of belonging, we stand against hate, racism, violence and discrimination. For those of you feeling grief, anger, sadness & fear, you are not alone. Advancing diversity, equity and inclusion must remain the foundation of everything we do and what GSG stands for.
Over the course of the next days, we will engage in more conversations with our staff worldwide regarding the "black lives matter" cause. To our Atlanta team specially - stay strong and stay safe. Our thoughts are particularly with you.
