New conditions - same commitment. Despite the current Situation all our field technicians are working all over Austria to Keep mobile Network running so employees all over Austria can work remotely and stay at home to avoid spreading the Virus. Also our Backoffice Crew is working remotely for over four weeks now. Great to see enthusiasm and motivation is unbroken!
We serve Austria. Our technicians still work despite current situation so we can install and maintain critical infrastructure throughout Austria. This is our important contribution to system preservation during this exceptional situation. Since health and safety of our employees is very important for us, we take all necessary measures to protect our team.
For our clients we go through deepest snow. On Friday one of our field teams worked at a site in Obertauern (1777 meters above sea level). What is a nice place to ski, is a hard place to work. The site was only reachable by foot through deep snow. Around the site the snow was up to 2 meters high. That means you have to shovel before you even start to do your actual work. Thanks to our field teams!
Last Friday we had our annual strategy workshop at Talent Garden Vienna. At this hotspot of innovation our core team discussed goals, challenges and how our organization can be fit for the future. Interesting times are ahead of us: #5g, #digitalization and #automatization. We crafted and updated our #vision, #mission and value statement as well as we defined necessary tasks to be future proof.
Congratulations to A1 Telekom Austria for the start of its #5g mobile network during a fulminant show in Kitzbühel directly after the downhill winner‘s ceremony. We and Nokia are so proud and happy to be a part of this success. 📶
