📢 Attention everyone! March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Did you know that colorectal cancer is the second most common cause of cancer in Africa and represented 12.1% of new cases of cancer in 2020 (source: GLOBOCAN).
However, when detected early, ie. the cancer is localized and hasn’t spread to surrounding tissues or organs, prognosis is good and colorectal cancer can often be cured (source: www.cancer.net ).
