Meet the Prospective Instruments team at #SPIE #BiOS and #PhotonicsWest. Starting on January 22, 2022 in San Francisco.
Visit our booth and get a sneak preview of the redesigned #MPXseries #multiphoton microscopes, #MPCseries customized #multiphoton microscopes and #FSXseries #femtosecond lasers. And chat with our team about our #inhouse #Imagingservices.
We are looking forward to meet you in person!

This week's amazing #multiphoton z-stack of 3D nano-printed scaffold imitating native lung tissue sourrounded by lung cells, made with our #MPX1040 microscope (20x, 0.75 NA, FOV 600 µm, z-stack: stepsize 3 µm).
Overlay of 2P-460 nm (Hoechst, blue), 2P-542nm (Rose Bengal, green) and 2P-595 nm (Phalloidin-ATTO-490LS, red).
You can see the cell nuclei (blue), scaffold structure (green) and the stained actin filaments of A549 lung cells (red). Cells were kindly provided by Amelie Erben supervised ...
Happy New Year to all of you on this #FluorescenceFriday! 🌈🍀🎉
Thanks to all of you helping to find our best image 2021. Today we are proud to announce the winner: A - this maximum intensity projection of the bee made with our #mesospim #lightsheet setup got most of the votes.

Happy holidays! 🌟✨🌟
We found this little #Christmas tree while imaging living human epithelial cells stained with Spirochrome's SPY555-tubulin live cell tubulin probe. It was made with our #MPX1040 #multiphoton setup (60x, 1.4 NA, FOV 90 x 150 µm) - Overlay of 2P-460 nm (Hoechst, red) and 2P-595 nm (SPY555-tubulin, green).
You can see the cell nuclei (red) and the stained microtubuli (green). DLD1 cells were allowed to grow in an ibidi 8-Well Slide for 1 day and stained with the live cell p...

What to do with a bee you find on your terrace? Well, very obvious for us: clear it, image it with your #lightsheet microscope and post it on #FluorescenceFriday 🐝😊
Beautiful maximum intensity projection of an unlabeled honey bee made with our #mesoSPIM #lightsheet V5 setup (0.63x, 0.15 NA, FOV 21 x 21 mm) - excitation at 488 nm (blue); clearing: BABB over 2 weeks.

Today's whole slide image (WSI) shows a swine olfactory epithelium and was imaged with our #MPX1040 #multiphoton setup (20x, 0.75 NA, FOV: 16.1 x 3.7 mm). Cell nuclei stained with DAPI and NOGO-A stained with RhodamineRedX. Overlay of 2P-460 nm (blue), SHG-520nm (green) and 2P-595 nm (red).
The sample was kindly provided by Frank Maigler supervised by Prof. Katharina Schindowski Zimmermann (Hochschule Biberach)

Congratulations to Frank Maigler, Stella Gänger, Katharina Schindowski Zimmermann and #ProspectiveInst's Stefanie Kiderlen on their paper "Selective CNS Targeting and Distribution with a Refined Region-Specific Intranasal Delivery Technique via the Olfactory Mucosa". The paper is based on the research from the N2B-patch (EU grant agreement No. 721098) project which developed a proof of concept for an intranasal nose-to-brain (N2B) drug delivery of therapeutic antibodies for multiple sclerosis (M...
Time-lapse of living human epithelial cells stained with Spirochrome's SPY555-tubulin live cell tubulin probe made with our #MPX1040 #multiphoton microscope: 60x, 1.4 NA, FOV 665 µm - Overlay of 2P-460 nm (Hoechst, blue) and 2P-595 nm (SPY555-tubulin, green).
