We are excited to announce the opening of Stronghold Academy Italia, Stronghold's digital platform dedicated fully to the training of our internal team, with lots of specific courses, all of which are extremely useful in order to improve and develop new skills. This is not a classic top-down platform, however: anyone in the Stronghold team who wants to design and develop their own course can now do so. We knew without doubt that we wanted to open up this possibility to everyone, creating a virtu...

The pandemic has shown us the fragility of global chains, giving rise to an unprecedented process of deglobalisation. On top of this, however, there are a number of events which are adverse to the globalised model: these range from geopolitical tensions, to dependence on China for production, to the issue of energy. A Nearshore strategy could bring substantial advantages to the chain: cultural proximity, complete visibility of the project, a similar time zone, market knowledge and geographical p...

Here at Stronghold, expanding our sales network in a profitable and targeted way is crucial. For this reason, in 2021, we added two specialised Agents to the Regional Sales Force: Claudio Barollo in Veneto and Daniele Baiocchi in Tuscany. The results are already impressive and are allowing the company to continue to grow. We won't stop there: 2022 will be an opportunity for us to continue to invest and further expand our local network. Are you looking for new challenges and would you like to jo...

For every company, having a vision together with a clear and common mission is the first step to growth and improvement. Knowing where you are going and what path you are on is the only way to make the right choices. Why does Stronghold exist? To simplify and optimise the industrial chain, offering targeted and efficient solutions to companies. That's what we do best, and we do it extremely well.

What should we expect from 2022? Unfortunately, no one can say when supply chains will normalise: there are still widespread problems, blockages and labour shortages. This situation forces companies to make decisions on where to act: on the one hand, prioritising the present and the immediate future, and on the other, focusing on long-term reprogramming of the network. 2022 must not be the year where we simply wait and hope for change, but rather the year of action and reprogramming.

A special day, a moment full of tradition and love. This Christmas we have decided to give the Stronghold team a gift that is a little different from the usual: a gift box made by Pasticceria Giotto in the prison in Padua. To find out more about the project, here is the link: https://www.pasticceriagiotto.it/it_IT/la-pasticceria-del-carcere.html Merry Christmas to you all, from Stronghold!"

The Stronghold team has grown and improved together and thanks to the commitment, dedication and positive approach of everyone, we have been able to achieve significant results. Last year Stronghold applied for and obtained three important ISO certifications: · Quality system (ISO 9001:2015) · Environmental system (ISO 14001:2015) · Safety system (ISO 45001:2018) More recently, just one year after first achieving the ISO certifications, we passed the first audit without any non-compliance and all three certifications were renewed. Congratulations to the whole team!

Today we would like to introduce you to Giada, a member of the Purchasing dept. at Stronghold Italy. Giada has been working here since 2006, covering different roles, growing in technical and soft skills. At the beginning of 2020 she accepted a new challenge and moved to the Purchasing dept. We have asked her some questions: - How do you communicate Stronghold's flexibility to our suppliers? Listening to suggestions and communicating with them: to me, flexibility means being open to new idea...
