At Uddeholm we work continuously to improve our processes and product quality. Earlier this year, Uddeholms AB in Hagfors, Sweden, installed an automatic testing machine using eddy-current and ultrasonic methods to inspect round peeled steel bars. A manual inspection is a skill that takes long time to learn and years to perfect. With this new machine, we improve our efficiency and let our experienced and valuable testing personnel spend more time where they are most needed.
